"Allons-y!" Join Megan & Jesse to see some great birds and France's Camargue and Pyrenees to boot!
We have just one space still open on our upcoming tour scheduled for September 4-14. Below is just a small visual sample, with European Griffon, a lake high in the scenic Pyrenees, the 700-year-old walls of Aigues-Mortes, and Greater Flamingos in the Camargue, in photos by guide George Armistead and participants Paul Thomas and David Disher. Check out all the details on our France: Camargue & Pyrenees tour page.

Kenya & Tanzania in one brilliant trip
We call our upcoming September 4-24 tour East Africa Highlights: Kenya & Tanzania, but "highlights" might just possibly be an understatement for the single richest birds-and-mammals region on Earth. And who better to show it to you than Terry Stevenson in a small group of just 6 participants plus Terry and driver-guide? We have just one space still open on this departure also. Contact Tour Manager Sharon Mackie in our office; she can help get you set up for an amazing adventure to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Nakuru, Mt Kenya, and more!

Arizona Nightbirds: published tales from the tour
Participant Joe Prentice returned from our May Arizona Nightbirds & More tour and wrote a fun piece about it in the online version of Boulder, Colorado's Daily Camera newspaper. Read Joe's article...
Jay VanderGaast adds August Ecuador: Rainforest & Andes II and a second New Guinea & Australia
Our ever-popular Ecuador: Rainforest & Andes tour fills early. This year? No exception. To accommodate the extra interest Jay added an August 29-September 12 departure to his schedule. This 15-day tour regularly catalogs more than 600 species including an astounding diversity of brilliant hummingbirds and tanagers! You can pick up an itinerary from the tour page or directly at this link. Jay has also added a second departure of our New Guinea & Australia tour, September 30-October 18 -- a fabulous sampler of birds-of-paradise and much more!
...and John Coons adds 2nd November Louisiana
Dan and John's first Louisiana: Red Beans & Yellow Rails departure is fully booked, so John's added a second one for November 11-15 (see the itinerary here). Are you thinking that seeing some rails and other great birds might be fun? Laissez les bons oiseaux rouler!
New slideshow and cool Bird Buzz for your viewing
Linked below are two new postings for your armchair birding delight: a slideshow of images by guide Dave Stejskal from a recent Arizona tour, and a new Bird Buzz by Bret Whitney on the Rufous Potoo in Brazil, with images of adult and chick plus a one-minute video clip check it out for a cool story and some amazing potoo behavior!
