ECUADOR RAINFOREST & ANDES II September 6-20, 2008 with Mitch Lysinger. Highlights of the best of Ecuador's rainforest birding at Sacha Lodge (think cotingas, parrots, antbirds, and canopy towers) combined with two exciting destinations in the Andes (think myriad hummingbirds and tanagers). Limited to 8 participants.

BOLIVIA'S AVIAN RICHES September 6-21, 2008 (Blue-throated Macaw Extension from September 1) with Dan Lane & second guide. Survey tour of the special bird life of the Bolivian Andes; wonderful mountain scenery and easier than you may think.

CARAJAS, BRAZIL September 19-29, 2008 with Bret Whitney. Huge, remote forest reserve with excellent Amazonian forest access. Limited to 8 participants. May be combined with RIO NEGRO PARADISE.

AUSTRALIA (Part I) September 26-October 16, 2008 (Pelagics pre-tour from September 24) with Chris Benesh & second guide. Begins our two-part tour with Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, southwest Australia, and Alice Springs.

SERRA DOS TUCANOS, BRAZIL September 27-October 7, 2008 with John Rowlett. A short introduction to the avifauna of the Atlantic Forest based at one lovely site near Rio; designed for birders with little time and hence unable to take our 26-day SPECTACULAR SOUTHEAST BRAZIL tour. Limited to 8 participants. May be combined with ALTA FLORESTA, BRAZIL.

NEW GUINEA & AUSTRALIA October 2-20, 2008 with Phil Gregory. A rich and diverse sampler of the best birding of New Guinea and Australia.

KENYA II October 4-November 1, 2008 with Terry Stevenson. Unsurpassed in its combined wealth of birdlife and mammal spectacle. Limited to 6 participants.

ALTA FLORESTA, BRAZIL October 6-17, 2008 with John Rowlett. A rare look at birds of southern Amazonia at a wilderness lodge on the beautiful Rio Cristalino with an overnight stop in the Chapada das Guimaraes. Limited to 8 participants. May be combined with SERRA DOS TUCANOS, BRAZIL.

SAFARI BRAZIL: THE PANTANAL & MORE October 12-28, 2008 with Mitch Lysinger. The spectacular wetlands of the Pantanal, with Hyacinth Macaws and Jabirus, combined with the many specialties of Brazil's Central Plateau, including Emas National Park, Cipo, and Caraca, plus Canastra as an extension to the main tour. Limited to 9 participants.

AUSTRALIA (Part II) October 14-29, 2008 (Tasmania extension to November 3) with John Coons & second guide. Completes the continent with Darwin, Cairns, Atherton Tableland, and O'Reilly's.

SPECTACULAR SOUTHEAST BRAZIL October 27-November 21, 2008 (High, Low & Rio extension to November 23) with Bret Whitney & second guide. A center of avian endemism particularly rich in hummers, cotingas, antbirds, and with some great scenery.

NORTHWESTERN ARGENTINA October 28-November 16, 2008 with Dave Stejskal & Jesse Fagan. Comprehensive survey tour of the diverse bird habitats of the northwest, with numerous specialties. May be combined with SOUTHERN ARGENTINA.
