Churchill, Manitoba on Canada’s Hudson
Bay is the most easily accessible birding site for tundra and subarctic
breeders in North America. Standing on pre-Cambrian rocks on Cape Merry
at the mouth of the Churchill River we watch Parasitic
Jaegers chasing Arctic Terns, rafts of scoters, migrating Red-throated and
Pacific loons, as well as groups of gulls where we have the opportunity
of seeing….
