….the very rare and exquisite Ross’
Gull. First found nesting at Churchill in the early 1980’s,
it has been seen every year since. After a peak of 4-5 nests per year in
the mid-80s the numbers of Ross’ Gulls have gradually declined. Still,
Churchill is one of the most reliable, though less predictable, locales
to find this species among the much more common….
